Hot Tub Moving

Hot Tub Moving Service

A hot tub travels whole, so it has to fit the full path from where it sits to where the truck parks. A tub is about seven feet across. Most side yards are three to four feet wide, with a gate, a meter or a tight corner somewhere along them. The tub is never the problem. The route is.

That's why we quote from a video of that path. If the route works, you get a flat price. If it doesn't, we'll tell you, and hot tub removal is still an option.

Hot Tub Relocation

Hot Tub Relocation

Most hot tub moves are one of two jobs: a new spot on the same property, or a new home. Either way the tub travels on its side and is set down level on its new base.

  • Hot tubs and spas, from two-seaters to family-size tubs
  • Moved to a new spot in the yard, onto a new pad or deck
  • Loaded and taken to your new home, then set on the new base
  • Cover and steps moved with it

How a Hot Tub Move Goes

1

Send a video of the path

From the tub to where the truck parks: gates, corners, steps and slopes. Add a photo of the new spot.

2

Get a flat price

One number for the move, agreed before we come out.

3

Power off, water out

Your electrician disconnects a hardwired tub before move day. We drain it and take it out on its side.

4

Set on the new base

Placed level on the ready base, then your electrician reconnects it.

Not sure it fits through? Send the video and we'll tell you before anything is booked.

The New Spot

What the New Spot Needs

A hot tub needs a level, solid base that's ready before move day.

Concrete pad

A level slab, sized to the tub.

Spa pad

A level, compacted spa pad or base system.

A deck built for it

A deck built to carry a full tub.

Power at the new spot is run and connected by a licensed electrician that you arrange.

FAQ

Hot Tub Moving Questions Answered

One flat price, quoted from a video of the path from the tub to where the truck parks. It's set by the size of the tub, the route out, and whether it's going across the yard or to a new home.

No, draining is part of the job. A full tub weighs over 4,000 pounds, so the water comes out before anything else.

A licensed electrician that you arrange. A hardwired tub runs on a 240-volt circuit, so the electrician disconnects it before move day and reconnects it at the new spot. Plug-in tubs just unplug.

Because the tub is never the problem, the route is. A tub is about seven feet across, and most side yards are three to four feet wide, often with a gate, a meter or a tight corner along the way. The video tells us whether it gets through, and how.

Yes. It's loaded into the truck, taken to your new address, and set on the new base. The new pad or deck needs to be ready before move day.

Yes. Across the yard, onto a new pad or a deck built to carry it, as long as the path works.

We'll tell you from the video, before anything is booked. If the route can't work, hot tub removal is still an option.

Yes. The cover and steps go with the tub.
