We lift the piece up the outside of the building with a material lift or rope rigging and bring it in through the balcony or window. The furniture is wrapped in blankets and strapped before it leaves the ground. One crew member runs the lift while the others guide the piece in at the top.

Yes. Sofas and sectionals are the most common hoist we do. Text a photo of the couch and a photo of the balcony to (425) 648-7887 and we tell you the same day whether it fits and what it costs.

Yes, when the window opening is wider than the narrowest side of the piece. Send the window's width and height with your photos and we confirm it before booking.

Anything from a chair to a sectional, a mattress or a large entertainment unit. The material lift is rated to 1,000 lbs. For anything unusual, send the dimensions and we tell you if it is doable.

Yes. Each piece is wrapped and padded, strapped to rated rigging and guided by the crew the whole way up. Every hoist is covered by our insurance.

Many apartment and condo buildings ask for one, and some want the hoist scheduled with management. We send the certificate and work inside the building's rules. Give us the building name when you book.

Yes. One crew does the hoist and the rest of the move in the same visit. Choose "Yes, we'll move it too" on the quote form and add the second address.

Three, in order. First we check whether the legs, arms or back come off, because a sofa that loses its legs often clears a doorway it failed by an inch. If it still won't turn the corner, we take the door off its hinges. If the stairwell itself is too narrow, we hoist it in through a balcony or window and carry it the last few feet.

Yes. The frame comes apart and goes up the stairs in pieces. The mattress and box spring are the parts that don't bend, and those go over the balcony rail on straps, then we rebuild the bed in the room. Send a photo of the balcony and the mattress size and we confirm the same day.

Yes, the same rigging works in both directions. A sofa or dresser that came in through the balcony goes out the same way, lowered to the ground or straight onto the truck. Tell us the floor and what is coming down and we plan the day around it.

Usually, yes. If taking the legs and arms off does not do it, we hoist the sofa in through a window or balcony instead of the stairs. Send the width of the stairwell landing and a photo of the outside of the building and we tell you which way it goes.

Often, yes, but weight decides it. Sleeper sofas and welded one-piece frames are the heaviest things we lift, so we need the weight or the model and a photo of the opening before we say yes. If the opening is too tight for the weight, we tell you before anyone drives out.

Yes, when the deck rail and the lift can take the weight. Hot tubs, gun safes and large appliances are hoisted the same way as furniture, with straps rated for the load. Send the weight and a photo of the deck from below and we confirm whether it can be done.
