I live near the Mall. How do you handle the holiday traffic?
We know that November and December near Southcenter Pkwy are brutal. During peak shopping season, we schedule our truck arrivals for early morning (8 AM) before the shoppers arrive. We also use alternate routes (Interurban Ave / West Valley Hwy) to bypass the mall gridlock completely.
Do I need a reservation for my apartment elevator?
Almost always, yes. If you live in a modern complex (like the ones on Southcenter Blvd or Tukwila Int'l Blvd), management usually requires a 2-4 hour window for the freight elevator. We recommend booking this 2 weeks in advance. We can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) if your building manager asks for one!
Do you charge extra for the "S-Curves" or travel time?
We charge a flat travel fee that covers us getting to you and getting back to our HQ. We do not charge extra if we get stuck in unexpected traffic on the S-Curves while driving your stuff. That's on us. Our hourly clock starts when we arrive at your door and stops when we finish unloading.
