The Movers Who Can Handle
The Lakeland Hills.
Moving in Auburn is a unique sport. It's about navigating the Muckleshoot traffic, dodging the trains downtown, and conquering the steep driveways on the hill. We do the heavy lifting so you don't have to.
Moving Here Is... Different.
We know the "More Than You Imagined" city inside and out.
The Train Situation
Getting stuck by a train on Main St or Auburn Way when you're on a schedule? A nightmare. Our drivers know the underpasses and the back roads to keep your move on time, even when the tracks are blocked.
The Vertical Driveways
If you live in Lakeland Hills, your driveway probably looks like a ski jump. We bring specialized shuttle trucks and extra manpower to handle steep inclines safely. No runaway couches here.
The "SuperMall" Area
Moving into the apartments near the Outlet Collection? We know the loading dock procedures, the elevator codes, and how to navigate the weekend shopping traffic without losing our minds.
Which Auburn are you moving to?
Lakeland Hills
Master-planned perfection with views of Rainier. Requires strong legs and good parking brakes.
Lea Hill
Home to Green River College. Winding roads, lots of trees, and quiet cul-de-sacs.
The Valley / Downtown
Historic homes, quick access to 167, and yes, the occasional train noise. We love the character here.
Real Local Review
"We moved from the top of Lakeland Hills to a rambler near Les Gove Park. I was terrified about the movers getting the truck up our steep driveway, but Apex backed it in like it was nothing. They even wrapped our massive sectional so it wouldn't get scratched in the narrow hallway."
The Auburn "Move-In" Cheat Sheet.
Don't scramble looking for phone numbers. Here is who you need to call to get the lights on and the internet flowing in the 98001/98092.
Decluttering before the truck arrives?
Don't pay to move things you don't need. Here is where the locals drop off donations:
-
1
Goodwill Auburn 1519 Auburn Way N (Good for clothes/small furniture)
-
2
Habitat for Humanity Store Nearby in Auburn (Best for building materials/large appliances)
Tip: We can also do a "disposal run" for you if you have broken furniture. Just ask!
Questions We Actually Get
Specifically from people living on hills.
My driveway in Lakeland Hills is terrifyingly steep. Can you park there?
We know the one. If it's safe, our drivers are experts at backing up inclines. If it's too steep for the big truck (some are 20%+ grade!), we bring a "shuttle van" to ferry items from the street to the house. We always come prepared with wheel chocks and strong legs.
It's definitely going to rain on moving day. What happens?
This is Washington! If we stopped for rain, we'd never work. We shrink-wrap all upholstered furniture inside the house before it goes out the door. We also lay down neoprene floor runners to keep your hardwoods mud-free.
Do you charge extra for stairs or long hallways?
Nope. We charge an hourly rate for local moves. Whether we are carrying a couch up 3 flights of stairs or rolling it down a hallway, the rate is the same. No hidden "stair fees" or "elevator fees."
