Playset Assembly — FAQ

How long does a swing set take to build?

Most wooden kits take our two-person crew three to six hours. The large Costco, Backyard Discovery and Gorilla tower sets sit at the top of that range. Either way it is finished in a single visit rather than dragging across a weekend.

Do you level and anchor the playset?

Always. We level the frame on your actual ground so the swings hang straight and the slide sits correctly, install the ground anchors or stakes the manufacturer specifies, then torque-check every bolt and shake-test the whole structure.

Can you build on a sloped yard?

Usually yes. We level the frame to suit the slope, which sometimes means digging in one side or packing up the other. Mention the slope when you get in touch so we can allow for it in the quote.

Do you install trampolines?

Yes, including the enclosure net. Trampoline springs are genuinely hard on your hands and the net poles are fiddly — it is one of the jobs people most regret starting themselves.

Do you install basketball hoops?

Portable hoops are assembled, filled and ready the same day. In-ground hoops usually need two visits, because the post has to be set in concrete and cure before the backboard goes on. Tell us the model and we will confirm.

Do you take the packaging away?

Yes. Playset kits generate a remarkable amount of cardboard and hardware bags, and all of it leaves with us.

Do I need to be home for the build?

Not for the whole time, but we do need access to the yard and someone available at the start to confirm the exact position. After that you are free to get on with your day.

What areas do you cover?
